The Indiana Falcons 9U Neukam team completed the USSSA Smashing Pumpkins tournament with a runner up finish in the 9A Division on October 29, 2023. Dressed in team costumes as a pack of their favorite sports drinks, the team battled through a cold and wet weekend beating Five Star Indiana 9U Gold, but ultimately fell short in the Championship game to the Grizzlies.

After the game, Head Coach Whitney Neukam expressed pride in the result and how his team handled the adverse conditions. “This is a good result for our first tournament together as a team”, he said, “and we are looking forward to carrying the momentum gained here into our off-season training program.”

The Indiana Falcons were also represented in the Smashing Pumpkins tournament by the 9U-Harris, 10U-Rogers, 11U-Cruse, and 13U Teams.
